Dropped kerbs are essential for vehicle access and parking areas of residential and commercial premises, if you are looking to install a dropped kerb then we can inform you which type of road you are on (classified or non classified) to determine what applications will be required, in all cases you will require the Bristol excavation License to gain approval, we do this on your behalf to ensure a hassle free process, approval can take up to 4 weeks, once granted the work can be scheduled, the current fee is £292.00.

(Bristol City Council will retrospectively charge up to £400.00 if the license is not applied for and can also instruct all work to be reinstated if not properly installed by a qualified contractor.)
